Invertebrates
Dr. Tanya Latty used a combination of sweep netting and virtual survey data (with iNaturalist) to identify over 130 species of Invertebrates including bees, spiders, beetles, ants, cicadas, termites and more. According to her, this is merely representative and estimates, perhaps thousands of species of invertebrates are in existence in the Manly Dam region and only the ‘research grade’ observations were included in the survey.
